Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology. Engineering Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.

The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s fundamental defense services. In addition to receiving a competitive salary , theEntry-Level Power Converter Intern (Paid) will build upon their classroom learning by working among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to build and ensure highly reliable analog electronic designs.
You will build upon the skills you are learning in your college courses as you design, develop and test electronic equipment and systems at GDMS including: Low Voltage Power Conversion and Power Distribution in support of communications equipment and systems, analog and digital computers, and control and test equipment. The Entry-Level Power Converter Intern (Paid) will support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the GDMS culture and strategies to further ensure our services are consistent with, and remain superior to, industry best practices. You'll also be involved with DC-DC converter design, Space Electronics Design , and disciplined Worst Case Analysis .
